Grey’s Anatomy

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic medical series, Grey’s Anatomy. This show debuted in 2005. It is rated TV-14 for the following reasons: moderate sex & nudity, severe violence & gore, mild profanity, moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking, and moderately frightening & intense scenes. There are 17 seasons for a total of 380 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 43 minutes. Starring in this series are Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, and James Pickens Jr. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: a drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.

If you decide to fall down the rabbit hole that is Grey’s Anatomy, please be prepared for heartbreak. This show will make you fall in love with character after character after character and kill them off. This show is just as bad as Game of Thrones for a body count. I love this show, even though my favorite characters have been gone for a while, I always find new ones to love. I love how this show tries to highlight real conditions that are affecting people every day. I love the cast and I hope to see familiar faces in the future seasons. The early seasons are a little rough and lean heavily into the romance side of the plot. However, as the show goes on it really finds its footing in the medical side and turns into the amazing show that so many people rave about. There is only one thing that I will never get over and that is the undoing of all the character growth Alex did just to do that bogus BS to Jo. Yep still angry and it is been at least a year since I watched that. If you are a fan of medical dramas, this show is definitely worth the watch.

I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Lisa Renee Irwin. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the documentary series, Love On The Spectrum. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
