Unlike the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch, this show is not for kids and it is all things YES! I cannot rave about this show enough. This is the version of Sabrina I have always wanted. I would watch the original if it happened to be on before a show, I was waiting to come on, but I never sought it out. I was excited when I saw they had redone the show but with a dark twist.
I love the inter-conflict that many of the characters experience. This gives the show depth that many shows lately seem to be lacking. I loved that the family history is messy and with mixed feelings on the parts of others. This gave the show a complexity that had me wanting more with each scene.
This show is not for those that have issues with the talk of Satan and all things dark, and magical. The imagery of the show is amazing, the attention to detail, the effects, all of it makes this show it’s very best. The combination of imagination with reality makes this show better. I always love a show that combines history/facts with a fictional world.
I think the aunts are my favorite part of this entire show. The way they fight and bicker with each other is the best. I will admit that I wouldn’t mine a graveyard like the Spellman’s. That one plot could come in handy. If you don’t already know what I mean, then you better get to watching to find out. Hehehehehe
I give this 5 out 5 stars.
