Get Organized with the Home Edit

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV series, Get Organized with the Home Edit. This show debuted in 2020 and is a Netflix Original. This series is rated TV-PG with no additional information on the rating found. There are 8 episodes for a total of one season. Each episode has a running time of approximately 40 minutes. The series is hosted by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin. The following overview is provided from IMDB: Organizers Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin of the Home Edit conquer clutter and transform lives. Reese Witherspoon and Molly Sims coproduce.

I enjoyed this show and many of the tips it had for organizing your living space. However, I will never organize my books the way they do and if anyone tried to do that to my books, I would be mad. I have a particular way that I organize my books given that I loan them out to friends and I also reference them a lot so I have to have them organized differently for that reason. I understand the visual appeal of organizing books that way and if you can do it that way awesome. It just doesn’t work for me. All the other tips I found practical. I didn’t enjoy every celebrity segment but most of them were fun to watch. I recommend this show to anyone who is looking for tips to stay organized.

I give this series 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Chip Michael Campbell. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic fantasy series, The Magicians. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
