This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the sports podcast, The Lead. This podcast debuted in September 2019 and is still releasing episodes. There are 518 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. This is a fantastic sports podcast. They do a wonderful job of covering all different sports at all different levels. I enjoy the variety of reporters they use to report on the different things going on around the sports world. I feel like each episode highlights the most important sports news at the moment. I don’t have the time to follow a ton of the sports news going on, so I enjoy this podcast to keep me up-to-date on what’s going on. It has always introduced me to important things going on with sports I had never had an interest in before. I have definitely expanded my consumption of sports and sporting events.
I give this podcast 4.5 out of 5 stars.
