Natural Disasters

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the nature podcast, Natural Disasters. This show debuted in August 2019 and last updated in November 2020. There are 52 available on Spotify to listen to. The following overview is provided from the Spotify podcast page: Tsunamis, volcanoes, tornadoes, earthquakes… these are real-life monsters, we like to think we’re prepared for a catastrophe. But time and time again, Mother Nature proves us wrong. Each week, Natural Disasters examines the earth’s biggest catastrophes that took countless lives, destroyed communities, and toppled civilizations. Natural Disasters is a Spotify Original from Parcast.

This was a fascinating look at the strength of Mother Nature. Some of the disasters I had knowledge of, but the storytelling took it to a whole new level. I loved learning about how the disasters changed things for future events. It was also a frank reminder that no matter what you think you know about Mother Nature, she can be more deadly and destructive than you could imagine. I believe that anyone who lived through one of these events was forever changed by it. Nature should be respected because we can’t control her.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the romantic comedy, Squared Love. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Con Artists. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
