This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Marisela Fabian Hernandez. Marisela is classified as an endangered missing person. She has been missing since January 23rd, 2016, and was last seen in Pomona, California.
Marisela was born on May 5th, 1977, and was 38 years old when she went missing. She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’1”-5’3”, 133 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Marisela may have been wearing a pink top and size 5 sports shoes.
Marisela was last seen on January 23rd in Pomona, California. She had left the house to go to work, but she never made it to her place of employment. Her red 1994 Toyota 4-Runner was found at her residence as well as her phone charger. A few days later the police were called to the residence by her husband Ivan Hernandez before he completed suicide. In a note left behind by Ivan, he asked Marisela’s brother to take care of their children. Ivan and Marisela had been having marital problems and Marisela had a boyfriend that lived across the country in New York. The boyfriend has spoken with the police. Although there is no evidence of foul play, Marisela’s disappearance is considered suspicious.
