Missing: Billy Gene Hammonds

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Billy Gene Hammonds. Billy is classified as an endangered missing person. He has been missing since November 26th, 2016, and last seen in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Billy was born on October 14th, 1980, and was 36 years old when he went missing. He is described as an Indigenous male, 6’2”, 175 lbs, with short black hair, and dark brown eyes. Billy goes by the nicknames Bene, Bob, and Billy Gene. He has a thin beard around his chin and jawline, a scar on his upper chest, as well as the following tattoos: “Pam” on the wrist, “deejay” on the arm, “bene” on the chest, and praying hands on his back.

Billy was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on November 26th, 2017, in Lumberton, North Carolina. Foul play is suspected in his disappearance.
