Con Artists

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Con Artists. This show debuted in July 2019 and has not been updated since November 2020. There are 107 episodes available to listen to on Spotify. The following overview is provided from the Spotify podcast page: You trust then with your life. They seem like a friend. Family, even. Anyone can fall victim to a con and many have. What type of person intentionally tries to deceive, manipulate and eventually destroy someone with their web of lies? Peek behind the masks of the most notorious Con Artists, and explore how for someone will go in order to gain money, power, and respect. Con Artists is a Spotify Original from Parcast.

I enjoyed the structure of this podcast it was consistent from the first episode until the last one. I found it fascinating to learn about some of the cases that I had not heard about before. I also learned things about cases I had known about. This is a well-done and well-produced podcast. I really enjoyed listening to the host of each episode. I recommend this to anyone into true crime.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the action-adventure film, Finding ‘Ohana. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the sports podcast, The Lead. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
