Christmas in the Smokies

This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the holiday film, Christmas in the Smokies. This movie was released in 2015 and has a running time of 1 hour & 28 minutes. This movie is rated TV-G and there was no additional information provided about the rating. Starring in this film are Sarah Lancaster, Barry Corbin, and Alan Dowell. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: Christmas in the Smokies is a modern-day Christmas classic set in the beautiful Smoky Mountains that tells the story of one family’s journey to save their historic berry farm against all odds during one fateful holiday season.

I found that this holiday film was watchable, but it is not rewatchable in my opinion. It is too much cheesy storyline for me to want to watch it a second time. I was picking out what was going to happen next in the movie and it kind of ruined the whole experience for me. I would say give it a watch to see if it is something that you would want to include in your holiday movie selection.

I give this film 3.5 stars.

Tomorrow for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the crime limited series, Waco. Next week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the holiday film, 48 Christmas Wishes. Until then keep consuming the cinema; Nerd out!
