This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the society & culture podcast, Incel. This show debuted in June 2019 and is still releasing episodes. This podcast comes with an explicit language warning. There are 67 episodes available at the time of writing. This is a fascinating look at the Incel community. I give Namma a lot of credit for how she handles the interviews. She does a wonderful job of allowing the guests to talk about what they want while also keeping them to a cohesive story. I feel like the only way to really get to the bottom of something, you have to do your best to understand it. Unfortunately, in today’s society, everyone wants to jump to automatically demonizing something instead of trying to come to any form of understanding. This podcast does a good job of allowing us an inside peak at those who identify this way.
I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.
