Assassinations

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the history podcast, Assassinations. This podcast debuted in November 2018 and stopped updating in April 2020. There were 64 episodes available at the time of writing on Apple Podcasts. The following description is provided from the Apple Podcast page: One death can change the world. At least, that’s what assassins believe. Assassinations recounts history’s most dramatic deaths. Through little-known facrs, “what-ifs?” and examining assassin’s motives, we examine how one murder can alter the course of history.

I loved this podcast. I learned a lot about people’s motivations that I had never heard before. I found the stories fascinating and presented in a well-organized manner. It’s always been interesting how people think that assassinating a person will get them what they wantd when in actuality it helps move the assassinated person’s agenda more. I recommend that everyone check out this podcast. It presents important stories from history in a fact-based manner. There are lessons we can learn from these events, as many repeat themselves in current times.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the war drama film, Sand Castle. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, True Crime Story Time. Until keep listening on; Nerd out!
