The Most Unknown

This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the documentary film, The Most Unknown. This film was released in 2018 and has a running time of 1 hour & 32 minutes. This film is rated TV-PG, and I was unable to find a breakdown for the rating. Starring in this film are Jennifer L. Macalady, Davide D’Angelo, and Axel Cleeremans. The following description is provided from IMDB: The Most Unknown is an epic documentary film that sends nine scientists to extraordinary parts of the world to uncover unexpected answers to some of humanity’s biggest questions.

I enjoyed this documentary. It was fun to watch specialists in each field of science connect and learn from a different one. I loved where they were able to find similarities in what is being studied in each field. I loved learning about fields of science I did not know about before. I was sad to hear about the devastation to the monkey habitat that was featured at the end. I would love for them to do a follow-up, years from now that would have them revisit to see how they have progressed and changed. I honestly want to know what discoveries they may have made within their experiments and how it is propelling us forward. Maybe I am weird in wanting to know what happened with the scientists’ work. I love science, I love how it moves us forward and teaches us new things. Science is a powerful knowledge to have and understand and I have tons of respect for scientists. I recommend this film to anyone who is into science.

I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the sci-fi action series, Star Trek: Voyager. Next week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the documentary film, The Bleeding Edge. Until then keep seizing the cinema; Nerd out!
