Brain on Fire

This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the biopic, Brain on Fire. This film came out in 2016 and has a running time of 1 hour & 28 minutes. This movie is rated PG-13 for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity, moderate profanity, mild alcohol/drugs/smoking, and moderate frightening/intense scenes. Starring in this film are Chloe Grace Moretz, Thomas Mann, and Richard Armitage. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: A young, capable professional cannot explain her newly erratic behavior.

Everyone needs to stop what they are doing and watch this movie if you have not already. Not only is the story intense, keeping you on the edge of your seat but the acting is top-notch. I cannot imagine going through this type of experience and I really feel for the family and friends. To watch someone, you care about turn into a completely different person and there is no explanation for it, has to be nerve-wracking. This was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster that I will be watching over and over again.

I give this film 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic horror series, Bates Motel. Next week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the action-adventure film, How It Ends. Until then keep seizing the cinema; Nerd out!
