This week for the Movie Monday feature, I’m reviewing the action-comedy, Moonwalkers. This film came out in 2015 and is rated R. It has a running time of 1 hour and 47 minutes. Starring in this movie are Rupert Grint, Ron Perlman, and Robert Sheehan. The following plot summary is provided from IMDB: After failing to locate the legendary Stanley Kubrick, an unstable CIA agent must instead team up with a seedy rock band manager to develop the biggest con of all time – staging the moon landing.
I laughed so much during this movie. I loved the casting; I will be rewatching it. There’s just something about it that I can’t resist. Maybe part of it is seeing Ron Perlman play a CIA agent opposite Rupert Grint. What could be more entertaining than watching Clay Morrow work for the man and get wrapped up with Ron Weasley? Tell me if that’s what you pictured while watching this. Although it did switch between Clay and Hellboy for me in regards to Ron Perlman.
I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.
