This week for Spotlight Sunday, I’m reviewing the podcast Let’s Talk About Sects. If you have ever been interested in cults this is the podcast for you. The host Sarah Steel does an incredible job discussing cults from around the world.
This is a monthly podcast with 17 episodes at the time of writing this post. Some of the cults covered so far are Japan’s Aum Shinrikyo, Australia’s The Family, and the US’s Branch Davidians. Steel has been able to really enrich the podcast with her guests. She had spoken with former cult members as well as cult researchers. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is fascinated with the mentality of a cult and how people get roped in.
