Evil Has A Name (Audible Original)

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I am a huge true crime fan, but I am also adopted and in search of my biological father. So, to hear that they caught the Golden State Killer with a genealogy kit was a story I had to hear. I know that there had been a big media storm over DNA kits in response to the story. However, I feel like everyone should listen to this audiobook to hear exactly how the GSK was caught. It was not as easy as everyone thinks and law enforcement can’t just run DNA they have against Ancestry and other databases, there is only one.

I have to say listening to how the different law enforcement agencies finally came together to determine that they had one suspect for so many crimes was insane. The fact that so much had to happen before statewide databases and information sharing happened is something to remember. The fact that there were dedicated investigators who would never let this case go, makes you believe that those is a passion for what they do. This is such a powerful look into the investigation of a cold case that had hurdles to overcome before being solved. I look forward to more cold cases being solved now with this new tool for law enforcement.

This audiobook is only available through Audible and I highly recommend getting a subscription just for this book. You will quickly fall in love with Audible and everything it has to offer.

I give this title a 5 out of 5 stars.
