Revealed by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast

This week for the Fiction Friday feature, I am reviewing the young adult fantasy novel, Revealed by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast. This book was originally published in October 2013 by St. Martin’s Press with a page count of 320 pages. This novel is the eleventh book in the House of Night series. The audiobook is 9 hours & 58 minutes in length and read by Caitlin Davies. The following overview is provided from Barnes & Noble: Drastically altered after her fall at the end of Hidden, Neferet is now more dangerous than ever—and her quest for vengeance will wreak havoc on humans, as well as Zoey and her friends. Chaos is loosed in Tulsa and the House of Night is blamed. Can Zoey stop Neferet in time to keep her anger from escalating to full-on war? Or will someone else have to step in to take the fall?

I enjoyed the inclusion of old magic in the modern world story plot. I like how this series has moved along. Besides loving Zoey and Stark and their dynamic. My other favorites are Damien, Aphrodite, and Stevie Rae. Where the story has gone is better than I could have wanted. This series is so well-written, I love all the pop culture references and locations. Each of the individual character arcs is well developed across the books. If you enjoy young adult urban fantasy this series is a must-read. There are so many things I love about this book but I don’t want to spoil very important plot points for those who haven’t read it.

I give this novel 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Tercel Samayoa-Menendez. Next week for the Fiction Friday feature, I am reviewing the adult fiction novella, The Iron Circle, the Tale of Harry Thomas by Alex Montague. Until then keep reading on; Nerd out!
