Norsemen

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedy series, Norsemen. This show debuted in 2016. This series is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity, severe violence & gore; mild profanity; mild alcohol/drugs/smoking; mild frightening & intense scenes. Starring in this show are Kare Conradi, Nils Jorgen Kaalstad, and Jon Oigarden. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: Viking life at the close of the 8th century. *At the time this review was written season three had not been released, and is based on the first two seasons*

This show is okay. Episodes are hit or miss for me. It took me more time than I would like to care about anything going on. I understand what their trying to do but I am not entirely sure what is the exact issue. I cannot tell if it is the acting or the story writing, I am leaning more toward it being the story writing. But with it always falling in the same mediocre range each episode on both parts I do not want to say it one or the other. I can only express my opinion when it comes to the experience I had with the show. It is a more niche show than one for a broad audience. The only thing I can advise is that you not judge the whole show on the first episode.

I give this show 3 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network profile of Matthew Daniel Anfeldt. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the romantic drama series, Sweet Magnolias. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
