This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Veronda Kay Sanders. Veronda is classified as a missing person. She was last seen on October 17th, 2018 in Houston, Texas. Veronda was born on May 13th, 1958 and was 60 years old when she went missing. She is described as a black female, 5’3”, 135lbs, graying black hair and brown eyes. Veronda has pierced ears, a small rose tattoo on the back of her shoulder, she also has moles under both eyes and a pockmark on the tip of her nose.
Veronda was wearing a white shirt, blue denim shorts and possibly a black fanny pack when she disappeared. She was last seen riding her bike in the S900 black of Westover in Houston at 8:30pm on October 17, 2018. Veronda has never been heard from again. Her bicycle is described as a light teal Huffy Good Vibrations Women’s Cruiser with a large black seat, there is no basket or fenders on the bike. It has not been found and few details are available in the case. If you have any information on Veronda or her disappearance, please contact the Houston Police Department at (832) 394-1840.
