Missing: Matthew Daniel Anfeldt

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network profile of Matthew Daniel Anfeldt. Matthew is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on February 28th, 2019 in Rochester, Washington. Matthew was born on January 27, 1999, and was 20 years old when he went missing. He is described as a white male, 5’6”, 115lbs, with short brown hair, and hazel eyes. Matthew has the nickname MT Haze. He has an appendectomy scar and the following tattoos: wrist band with a cross, a cross between thumb and index finger.

Matthew was last known to be wearing a Chicago Bulls sweatshirt, and grey sweatpants. Matthew disappeared under suspicious circumstances. He had run barefoot to the neighbor’s house saying that his family had been harmed or were going to be harmed. He left from there across the highway, yelling and crying about his family. A few minutes later he was 2 miles down the road at a small gas station repeating the same sentiments as before while trying to hide. The clerk called 911 and Matthew took off through a side door during the call. He has not been seen or heard from since. If you have any information on Matthew or his disappearance, please contact Detective Mickey Hamilton of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Department at (360) 688-6696. Make sure to reference case number 19-1080.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am continuing the Personal History series. Next week for the True Crime Wednesday feature, I am recapping the second episode of Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
