Missing: Jean A. Johnson

This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the Charley Project profile of Jean A. Johnson. Jean is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on May 27th, 2019 in Capitan, New Mexico. Jean was born on January 14th, 1949, and was 70 years old when she disappeared. She is described as a white female, 5’6”, 130lbs, with graying brown hair and green eyes. Jean has had a mastectomy of her left breast and has pierced ears.

Jean was possibly wearing a silver wedding band with three diamonds and a clear glass pendant with cremated ashes in it at the time she disappeared. She was last seen at her home at 5:30 p.m. on May 27th. She had been watching a friend’s dog at the time and failed to return the dog on the scheduled day. Jean’s car, wallet, and phone were all located at her house. An extensive search of her 10-acre property failed to turn anything up. If you have any information on Jean or her disappearance, please contact either the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (800) 687-2419 or the Carrizozo Sheriff’s Office at (575) 648-2342.

Tomorrow for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Case Closed. Next week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the Charley Project profile of Dennis Kalluveilil Joseph. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out.
