This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the Charley Project profile of David Rivera. David is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on August 29th, 2017 in Annapolis, Maryland. David was born on November 15th, 2000, and was 16 years old when he went missing. David is described as a Hispanic male, 5’1”, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
David was last seen wearing a blue and white striped hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and New Balance sneakers. His mom at seen him at their house on the 200 block of Janwall Street in Annapolis. He was home with his younger brother when his mom left to pick up their father from work. When she returned at 10 p.m., David was not home. David’s parents called him at 10:45 pm, David answered the phone saying he was fine and on his way home. He has not been seen or heard from since. In 2019, authorities announced that they had “concerning evidence” in regards to not only David’s disappearance but also of another boy, Javier Rodriguez, who had gone missing two years before David.
