This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the horror film, Malevolent. This movie came out in 2018 and has a running time of 1 hour & 29 minutes. Starring in this movie are Florence Pugh, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, and Scott Chambers. This movie was a trip. I thought it was going in one direction when BAM, that is not the path it took. I loved Florence Pugh in this movie, she was fabulous. Angela and Jackson’s relationship reminded me of many sibling relationships I have known. This movie felt real in the best creepy way while still being all the best parts of fiction. This is a must-watch for horror lovers.
I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.
