Floor is Lava

This week for the TV Tuesday, I am reviewing the game show series, Floor is Lava. This show debuted in 2020. This series is rated TV-PG for the following reasons: mild violence & gore, mild profanity, and mild frightening & intense scenes. This show has 1 season for a total of 10 episodes. The episodes have a running time of 30 minutes. Starring in this series are Rutledge Wood and Janine Hogan. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: Teams compete to navigate rooms flooded with lava by leaping from chairs, hanging from curtains, and swinging from chandeliers.

I love this show. I could not ask for a better reimagining of a childhood game. I really hope the show comes back with new rooms for the constants to grapple across. I enjoyed the kitchen course the most out of the ones in the first season. I enjoy that teams find different ways to make it across the same course. I love the commentary, I have rewatched the first season several times with my kids when we wanted a relaxing night together.

I give this series 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network profile of Typhenie Kae Johnson. Tomorrow for the True Crime Wednesday feature, I am recapping season 2 episode 2 of the I am a Killer series. Until then keep binge-watching episodes; Nerd out!
