Dirty Money

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the crime documentary, Dirty Money. This show debuted in 2018 and is rated TV-14; I was unable to find more information about the rating. There are 2 seasons for a total of 12 episodes. Each episode has a running time of 1 hour. Starring in this series are Matt Taibbi, Alex Gibney, & Anabel Hernandez. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: A Netflix Original series documenting various stories about exposing greed, corruption, and crime spreading through the global economy.

This series was eye-opening. I knew white-collar crime was more common than people think but man oh man the greed highlighted here was unreal. It scares me that these greedy individuals are the ones who hold the power to influence the government the way they want. Some of the episodes were not as good as others. I think it had to do with the stories that were present compared to the others or maybe it was just the personalities involved. If you are into white-collar crime documentaries, this show is for you.

I give this series 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the True Crime Wednesday feature, I am recapping the true crime documentary Square One on Amazon Prime. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the crime drama, Alias Grace. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
