Always A Witch (OT: Siempre Bruja)

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I’m reviewing the dramatic fantasy series, Always a Witch. This show debuted in 2019. The series is rated TV-14 for the following reason: moderate profanity. There are 2 seasons for a total of 19 episodes. Each episode has a running time of 40 minutes. Starring in this series are Laura Archbold, Angely Gaviria, and Lenard Vanderaa. The following plot overview is provided from IMDB: Time-traveling witch from the 17th century escapes death and finds herself in modern-day Cartagena.

This show is English dubbed and so worth the watch. I loved the storylines of each episode, as well as the beautiful scenery. I was hooked from the first episode and loved both seasons. I hope that Netflix does not cancel this one because it’s one of my pick-me-up shows. I love the empowerment messages of this show. It is everything I need right now with life being the way that it is. The bonds of friends on this show are everything you would want in a friendship circle. I am going to admit that I am here for the Alicia/Kobo storylines, I need more of them. As long as you do not mind a little off-sync dubbing, I highly recommend this show.

I give this series 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network Profile of Roderica Casteel. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the documentary series, Stay Here. Until then keep binge-watching episodes; Nerd out!
